About the Designer
Marquies Smith is from the vibrant city of Philadelphia, where his remarkable journey in the world of fashion began at the young age of fifteen. Inspired by his own personal wardrobe, Marquies embarked on a creative path, initially focusing on designing stylish menswear. However, his artistic endeavors soon expanded to include captivating women's clothing, allowing him to express his profound artistic vision.
Eager to refine his sewing skills, Marquies pursued higher education at Thomas Jefferson University, where he successfully obtained a bachelor's degree in fashion design. His dedication and expertise in the field led to his return to the university as a respected Professor in the esteemed fashion design department.
